Rematch x Blue Lock is official: the collaboration hits Sloclap's football game on Wednesday, September 24, 2026, with Season 5. Four characters were confirmed in the teaser shown at PlayStation's State of Play on September 3: Yoichi Isagi, Meguru Bachira, Seishiro Nagi and Rin Itoshi. The content lands on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series, two weeks before anime season 3 premieres on October 9.

The teaser is short, but it answers the question players have asked since the game launched in June 2025: yes, Blue Lock is coming to Rematch. The Isagi, Bachira, Nagi and Rin outfits should be character skins, the usual format for the game's collaborations, but Sloclap has not yet said whether they are full outfits, accessories or celebrations.
What is Rematch?
Rematch is an online football game developed by Sloclap, an independent studio based in Paris, known for Sifu and Absolver. Released on June 19, 2025, it has passed 6 million players. The concept: 5v5 matches in third-person view, each player controls a single footballer, with no fouls, no offside and no stoppages. Dribbles, passes and shots chain together in real time, like an action game.
That is exactly why the community calls Rematch "the Blue Lock game we never got": the pace, the one-on-one duels and the spectacular strikes match the spirit of Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura's manga. For a year, thousands of players have been recreating Isagi, Nagi or Rin in the character editor, with hugely popular tutorials on TikTok and YouTube. Sloclap had actually said Blue Lock was not an inspiration at the start. The Season 5 collaboration answers real demand from fans.

Yoichi Isagi
The hero of Blue Lock, number 11 of Japan U-20 and Bastard München striker during the Neo Egoist League. His in-game kit should revolve around spatial awareness and direct shots. To wear his jersey off-screen, here is the Isagi Blue Lock jersey and the Isagi collection.
Meguru Bachira
The dribbler with the "monster" inside, Isagi's teammate in the first selection and later FC Barcha's star. The character Rematch players want most, since dribbling is already the heart of the gameplay. His jersey: the Bachira FC Barcha jersey.
Seishiro Nagi
Manshine City's laid-back genius, famous for impossible first touches. His movie Episode Nagi and spin-off manga made him one of the franchise's most popular characters. His jersey: the Nagi Manshine City jersey.
Rin Itoshi
Isagi's number one rival, Sae's younger brother, top scorer of the Neo Egoist League with PXG. Picking Rin over Kaiser for the first teaser is a signal: the collaboration leans on the four faces of season 1, the ones everyone knows. His team: the Rin Itoshi collection and the PXG jerseys.

Sloclap picked its window well: the collaboration launches as season 3 hype builds, and all four teaser characters are Neo Egoist League starters. Rematch players who discover Blue Lock through the game will have a whole season to catch up on from October 9.
How to play Rematch x Blue Lock
You need Rematch (PC, PS5 or Xbox Series, about $29.99 for the standard edition, often discounted and included in Game Pass for periods) and Season 5 from September 24. Collaboration content is usually sold in the in-game shop for Quants, sometimes with challenges to unlock items for free.
